A closer look at the first (and most important) cycle:

 (62 + 4) = 40 years

40-year Cycles

The 6th cycle of 6 years is followed by a 7th cycle only 4 years long---for a total of 40 years, (a " generation" in the bible). (6 x 6 = 36 years, + 4 years = 40 years.)

These numbers agree with the creation model of a 6 day-creation,
with the 7th day set apart as special, (Genesis 1-2).
Remarkably, the 7th cycle is also 7 x 7 months long!

The significance of 40 years in the bible:

A period of 40 or 100 years is considered to be a generation in the bible. (We will touch on the "100 years" in the next chart.) At the time of the exodus, the entire "generation" that left Egypt perished in the desert, and they were in the desert "40 years," (Numbers 14:33-34). Therefore, 40 years is a conventional 'generation'. (There are numerous other references to 40 years that obviously signify a generation. For instance, many of the judges reigned 40 years, along with the first 3 kings of Israel. Moreover, in AD 30, Jesus said that that "generation" would not pass away until the destruction of Jerusalem occur, and "40 years" later in AD 70 His prophecy was fulfilled, (Matt. 24:34). (Doubtlessly, this prophecy of Jesus has still further implications beyond this initial fulfillment.) (See here for more on a generation as 40 years.)

The next two cycles, of times 100 and then times 25

The above 40 year cycles (of 14610 days) continues for 100 cycles at which time the 7th leap month of the 40-year cycle is omitted (see right side of above chart) so that there is only 360 days in that year; (see right side of chart below). [40 years times 100 = 4000 years, with the 4000th year being a 360-day year rather than 390 days.]

Therefore, below is the 100th generation of the 40-year cycle: (Changes are in bold and underlined.)

(divided by total 4000 years = 365.2425 average year)

The significance of 4000 in the bible:

The basic meaning of '4000 years' is contained in the cycles themselves: 40 times 100 = 4000 years. Both '40' and '100' are a conventional "generation" in the bible. As said before, a generation is 40 years, but it can also be 100 years too. For instance, God said to Abraham that his descendents would be "400" years in Egypt, which is likewise said to be the "4th generation," thereby making each generation 100 years, (Genesis 15:13-16). Moreover, Abraham was 100 when his first descendent, Isaac, was born, (Genesis 21:5). Thus, the next "generation" was born when Abraham was 100, thereby highlighting the said parallel between the "400 years" and "4th generation." Thus, 4000 years is a generation squared, (a generation times a generation of 40 and 100 years).

Also, "4000" has another significance: the Apostle Peter said that, "Beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day," (2Pet. 3:8).

There is good evidence that this was to be understood more than just figuratively. Both church history and the book of Revelation bares this out. (Note the "1000-year reign" of Christ in Revelation 20-22.) Hence, '4000' years symbolizes but 4 days on this ratio. (See here for the calendar in detail. It can be shown that each 4000 year unit is internally divided further by 1000-year units, which in turn is divided into halves and quarters. But that is too involved for this short synopsis. Since it does not pertain to the calendar directly, we leave it out.)

The calendar is completed with one further adjustment upon 25 cycles of the above 4000-year (40  x 100) cycles. Note changes in the two right-hand columns in chart below. (Changes are in bold and underlined.)

(divided by
the total 100,000 years equals exactly a 365.2422 average year.)

The significance of 100,000 in the bible:

'100000' is 1000 generations of 100 years. God said that He would show mercy to "a 1000 generations," (Exodus 20:5-6, Deuteronomy 7:9, 1Ch. 16:15, Ps. 105:8). God said this first at Mount Sinai, which is the year He instituted the 'first of the months.' "This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you," (Exodus 12:2). Thus, the exodus (and Mount Sinai) is when the calendar can have its start. Note that "40 years" passed till they entered the promised land. Thus, the first generation that died in the desert is also the first 40 years of the calendar cycle. Furthermore, the 49-year jubilees cycles commenced when they entered the land, (Lev. 25). It happens that 100000 years after the exodus would also therefore be a jubilee year! (100000 less 40 years, divided by 49 = 2040.)  Moreover, '50' is a full jubilee, and 100,000 is 50 x 50 generations of the ongoing 40-year cycles. (There are hundreds of biblical comparisons that could be made. See www.360calendar.com for more.)

Also note that the 10 years (60 squared days) that completes the calendar age thus brackets the 100000 years fractionally, in even multiples of 10, just as in all the other cycles. Thus, each and every cycle of the calendar has a 'wind-up' effect: The initial 40 year cycle is preceded by 4 years; the 4000 cycle by 40 years; and the 100000 by 10 years!

There are two other compatible methods, both intertwined with one another. For now we just give the formulas; however, the amazing patterns and the incredible accuracy must be studied to be appreciated.
