The lunar, solar, and Bible-Prophecy 3½ years of years––even all three––aligns
with all three deportations from Judah when starting from the entry into Egypt in 1876 BC. Judah was attacked and exiled on three occasions, the last of which saw the destruction of Jerusalem and its
temple:

598 (or 599 BC) (The prophet Ezekiel is among the exiles)

586 (or 587 BC) (The prophet Jeremiah is among the exiles)
The use of all three major types of calendars here testifies to the all-encompassing nature of God’s judgment and of His mercy (just as the seven-year famine of Joseph did). Like the rainbow (Genesis 8:33; 9:12-17) they represent God’s
three faithful witnesses in the sky (Jeremiah 31:35-36)––the sun, moon, and stars––which are given "for signs, and for seasons,
and for days and years" (Genesis 1:14; cf. Revelation 12:1-6).
